Quick headings in Word

Byte-size Bulletin by Simon Heath in Tips, Productivity, Microsoft Word on Dec 15, 2021

I frequently use these keyboard shortcuts to create headings in Word when working on simple documents. For longer, more complex documents I will use styles because they make edits quicker, but for simple documents, these are very handy.
Highlight your heading and then use these in combination to define a heading style, quickly that stands out:
CTRL + B = makes heading bold.
CTRL + ] = enlarges one font size at a time.
CTRL + [ = decreases one font size at a time.
CTRL + E = centres heading on a page.
CTRL + R = right aligns heading on a page.
CTRL + L = left aligns heading on a page.
