TWO MINUTE INTERVIEW

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

I love blue skies, mountains, snow and skiing – though less keen on chair lifts that don’t move in biting winds! I’m also a keen photographer, particularly portraits, though I’m struggling to get to grips with all the functionality of my new digital SLR. But hey, I’m in IT - how hard can it be?

Likes or dislikes?

I’m a big fan of ‘order and neatness’ - but with two small boys at home it’s like trying to hold back the tide!

What would you have done if you hadn’t gone into IT?

Well I used to be a professional actor. Sadly, all theatrical leanings are now abandoned, but I still enjoy getting lost in a good story, whether that’s in conversation, a book, theatre, film or TV. The Hay-on-Wye festival is a great ‘time out’ as far as I’m concerned.

Earliest memory?

Watching rugby with my dad, supporting Scotland. Seeing Scotland lift the World Cup isn’t too much to ask is it?
