TWO MINUTE INTERVIEW

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

I love spending time at the weekend with my family - playing various games with my son Kiran and desperately trying not to lose, which is getting harder by the day! We also like watching football – he’s a Liverpool supporter too, but then he didn’t get much choice. We both love commentating and scrutinising throughout the game, and often disagree – which is much more interesting than the commentators on TV. The language is often a lot stronger too, particularly if Manchester United are playing!

Likes or dislikes?

I hate watching Liverpool lose, or Manchester United win! Both of which seem to happen quite a bit lately. I also get really annoyed when I’m unable to fix an IT problem, which happily isn’t that often . . . In fact I like trying to show Kiran that Dad doesn’t just simply reboot PCs for a living – but I’m not doing too well with this at the moment!

Awards, accomplishments or anything you are particularly proud of?

Passing six Microsoft Exams in a period of two and a half months to achieve my MCSE for the first time – and I’m the only guy I know in IT who has a Grade A Physics A-Level! I’m also proud to have recently successfully managed a complete home renovation project, which involved us all vacating the property for seven months, whilst my wife and I were both working and Kiran was at school.
