TWO MINUTE INTERVIEW
What do you like doing when you’re not at work?
I’m really enjoying exploring London since moving here. I used to love mountain biking but there aren’t as many mountains in London, so now my cycling activity is pretty much restricted to Boris Bikes!
Likes or dislikes?
I dislike navigation. I have a terrible sense of direction and hate having to find my way to anywhere. I’d be completely lost without GPS and have had it for both walking and driving since it’s been available. In fact I’ve been known to get lost in my home town, which is quite small and I should know quite well! I like speed. I love skiing and driving fast, and am a Formula One fan. I once drove a Lotus Elise round Donnington at about 150mph and would love to do that again. Racing circuits have the added advantage that not much navigation is required, although deciding which way out of the pit lane might pose a problem!
Editor’s Note
Guy is a natural ‘experimenter’ with new technology and gadgets, but he’s also a good strategic thinker - so you could say he’s a geek, but a sensible one!
