Chris is one of our Technical Support Engineers, who joined the team in 2010 as part of our growth plans. He started his working life as a bank manager, but switched pretty swiftly to IT and is now a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator with seven years’ experience in the industry. TWO MINUTE INTERVIEW

What are your favourite pastimes?

I love tennis and football, and I’m a keen surfer – of waves that is, not the net! Probably helped by living in Australia in the past, and having a sister that lives in LA. I also enjoy watching films and listening to live music, with a particular penchant for tribute bands.

Anything other than sport?

Does watching sport count? I’m a Spurs supporter, which has its ups and downs . . . I’m also keen on cooking and am learning to cook thanks to a friend who works in the food industry. A recent triumph was a beef and chorizo pie which went down a storm with all six recipients. And it was all made from scratch, including the pastry - not even Luisa makes her own pastry!

Likes or dislikes?

I hate sitting on the train and having to listen to other people’s pointless conversations!

What would you have done if you hadn’t gone into IT?

I’d have been a racing driver! I used to do Go-Kart racing and I’m keen to show my moves if we arrange a works outing. I’m the perfect height and weight for formula one - and there is a slight resemblance to Lewis Hamilton as well, honest!
